The Moving Wall exhibit will be in Garden Grove Park Oct. 6-10
Today, a half sized replica of the Vietnam War Wall Memorial will stop to rest in Garden Grove at Garden Grove Park. It is called "The Moving Wall" and it has been touring the country for over 20 years.
It is not a novelty. It is not a toy.
It is a heartfelt movement to memorialize those who lost their lives in one of the most controversial military involvements the United States ever participated in.

Few events in American history cast so long and dark a shadow as the Vietnam War. Others were more catastrophic, the Great Depression and the Civil War, for instance.
But the Depression, heartbreaking though it was, did not really divide the country, and its anguish was replaced by glory and unity of World War II. It all seemed worth it, as prosperity and freedom followed the fears of the Thirties.
